Comparison

The model is theeasy part to buy

You can ask any chatbot about a chart. What it cannot do is fetch the candle that just closed, read your position, size the trade against your limits, and be refused by something that does not care how confident it sounded.

Four differences that actually matter

It queries, it does not recall

Prices, indicators, funding, your fills — fetched at the moment you ask, from the same computed series the screener and the backtester read. A general model answers from training data with a cutoff, and will do so fluently.

It knows your book

Your positions, your equity, your open orders and the decisions that produced them. "What changed today" is a question about your account, and it needs your account.

It cannot act alone

Every change is a proposal you confirm, and every order still passes a risk gate in a separate service. Persuasiveness is not an input to that gate.

It remembers deliberately

Memory cards, written and readable, rather than a context window that quietly forgets what you told it eleven messages ago.

What a general chatbot gets right, and where that ends

It is genuinely good at the reasoning

Explaining an indicator, sanity-checking a thesis, spotting the flaw in a plan — a frontier model does that well, and this platform uses frontier models for exactly that. Nothing here claims a proprietary model. The claim is about what surrounds it.

And it will hallucinate a price without hesitating

That is not a defect of a particular model, it is what a model does with a question it has no data for. The fix is not a better prompt; it is a tool call that fails loudly when the data is stale, and a platform that reports the age of what it fetched.

The dangerous version is the one that sounds operational

A chatbot given a broker API and no gate is a system where an argument becomes an order. Everything here is built the other way round: the assistant proposes, a separate service decides, and the credential lives somewhere the conversation cannot reach.

Questions about the comparison

Which model do you use?

Frontier models, with a ladder that sends heavy analysis to a stronger one and quick answers to a cheaper one. The model is a dependency, not the product — the data pipeline and the gates are the part that is hard to copy.

Can I just paste my positions into a chatbot?

You can, and it will reason about the snapshot you pasted. What you cannot paste is a live feed, an alert that fires while you sleep, or a refusal that stops a trade you would have talked yourself into.

Does it use my conversations to train anything?

No. Your account’s data is yours; the platform refuses a request for an account it cannot confirm is yours, and that boundary is enforced where the data lives.

Ask it something a chatbot cannot answer

"What has my paper account done this week, and what did the risk gate refuse?"
